Errthang’s bigger in ‘merica

Ok so if you saw the men’s finals in the Olympics gymnastics, I’m sure you noticed the cocky, arrogant, and flat out dumb sounding American team. I was frankly embarrassed.
After every routine they’d go rushing back to their little corner, loud as shit, saying things like, “Yeah baby, show them what America’s about!”, “Number one baby!”, and my personal favorite,”Yeah that’s right, that’s how we do!” I mean fuck, what happened to being humble? I can understand being excited and proud, but shit man, you look like a god damn fool rushing back to your team acting like a toddler, way to represent your country. You see these other teams do their routines and go back real humble, some high fives, hugs, “good jobs”, and that’s it. Real professional-like. Nope not good old ‘Merica. “This is how we do?” come on, that sounds stupid no matter what the circumstance, especially coming from any of those guys.
Why is this such a bother? Well all the talk and loudness, aside from being silly (retarded), sets you up for failure. In this case, the American’s put out this message, “Yeah going to show them what America’s about. Be on top, put down some scores, then make some stupid mistakes, and pretend it’s ok because we weren’t shooting for the gold anyways, bronze baby! THAT’S how we do!” Right?
Like shit, either way, huge accomplishment. They should be very proud. But for fuck’s sake, show some class! You’re representing “representin” your country, don’t make yourselves look like fools. I’m honestly surprised the coaches didn’t put them on check for that. Being humble goes a long way, especially when you fuck up and drop two places.
P.S. Phelps is a fucking robot! Kudos to that dude. And thanks Kat for that perfect title.
